ICD-9 and ICD-10 are the 9th and 10th revisions of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD). They contain codes for diseases, signs and symptoms, abnormal findings, complaints, social circumstances, and external causes of injury or diseases.

 

Based on the coding standard option (ICD-9 or ICD-9/ICD-10) selected in the Practice Defaults screen, this section is displayed as ICD-9 or ICD-10, respectively. The Provider and practice favorite list of ICD codes are configured from this section. Additionally, a list of illnesses in a category is also configured.
