Under Family Member Details, you can link patients with their family members and create family. Once the family members are linked in the system;
• | System displays “Family Due” in each family member’s patient statement, |
• | A consolidated statement for the complete family can be printed instead of printing separate statements for each member of the family, and |
• | Patient Unapplied credit of one family member can be transferred to other members as per the requirements. |
Users can add the family members at the time of adding a new patient or editing an existing patient. The patient to which you are adding family members becomes primary patient, however, if required, users can make any member of the family as a primary member.
When adding family members from the Patient Demographics screen, users can set any of the family members as a primary member, who will be responsible for family. Once set as a primary, the same member can be set as a guarantor of the family. System allows setting only one member as primary per family. If no family member is set as a primary, then system considers the patient as a primary family member, in whose demographics members are being added.

2. | Add a new patient or edit existing patient. |

6. | To edit details of any family member from the list, click . |
