The weightage for the MDM level is added in this tab. When you access the E&M Calc in charting for a specific encounter, the MDM Weightage field in the MDM section will display the value based on the configuration done here. The MDM level (Straight Forward, Low Complex, Moderate Complex, or High Complex) can be selected from the E&M Calculator screen.

To configure MDM Levels:

1.On the E & M Configuration screen, click MDM Configuration tab.
2.Select the MDM Level as Straightforward, Low Complex, High Complex, or Moderate Complex from the drop-down list.
3.Enter the From Points and To Points.
4.Enter the Weightage.
5.Click Save. The details are saved.
6.In the MDM Configuration tab, click the edit iconINSYNC~1_img796corresponding to the MDM level to edit the details.
